Corvo Sync connects your Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, or Brightspace account to Corvo — automatically turning your lecture slides into notes, flashcards, and quizzes, with no API token or setup required. HOW IT WORKS Corvo Sync reads your course content using your existing logged-in session — the same way your browser already sees your course pages. There's no access token to generate, no institution approval needed, and nothing to configure beyond connecting your platform once. Click "Sync now" from your Corvo dashboard and the extension: • Finds your lecture slides (PDF and PowerPoint) and sends them to Corvo, where they're turned into structured notes, flashcards, and quizzes • Pulls in your assignments, exams, and announcements so they show up alongside everything else in Corvo • Automatically tells lecture slides apart from tutorial sheets, past papers, and other course files, so only real lecture content gets turned into notes • Works across every course you're enrolled in — not just the one you happen to have open SUPPORTED PLATFORMS • Canvas — reads directly from Canvas's own course API • Moodle — reads Moodle's own internal course data where available, with a reliable fallback for every Moodle site • Blackboard — supported, including both Blackboard Original and Blackboard Ultra • Brightspace (D2L) — supported Every university customises these platforms differently. Corvo Sync is built to adapt: it learns which page structure your specific institution uses and gets faster and more accurate the more it's used — without ever needing manual setup from you. WHY NO ACCESS TOKEN? Many universities have disabled students from generating their own Canvas/Moodle API tokens. Corvo Sync doesn't need one. It works the same way your browser already does when you're logged in — reading what you can already see, nothing more. PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS • Corvo Sync only activates on Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, or Brightspace sites you explicitly connect — never a blanket grant to every website you visit. • It only reads course content (files, assignments, exams, announcements) — it never changes grades, submits work on your behalf, or touches your password. • It only runs when you choose to sync. There's no silent background activity. • Your course data is sent only to Corvo's own servers over an authenticated connection, using the same login you already use for the Corvo website.
