Cortex DeSci Miner turns the research papers you already read into structured scientific knowledge — and rewards you for contributing. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT IT DOES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ When you open a research paper on a supported literature site, Cortex DeSci Miner helps you extract knowledge triplets — subject / predicate / object claims — and submit them to the Cortex DeSci on-chain scientific knowledge graph. Each accepted, non-duplicate, on-topic triplet earns you $CXS tokens through a transparent settlement process. No pay-to-play, no upfront fees, no hidden costs. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW IT WORKS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1. Install the extension and create (or import) a wallet, protected by a password only you know. Your private key is AES-GCM encrypted at rest and never leaves your device. 2. Nothing to configure. AI extraction is covered by us for a limited number of calls per day, which means the paper text passes through our servers on the way to our AI provider. We don't store it. If you'd rather it never touched us, put your own key (Groq, OpenAI, DeepSeek, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint) in Settings and the request goes straight from your browser to that provider. 3. Open a paper on one of the supported sites. The extension reads the page metadata (title, abstract, DOI) and lets you extract and review triplets before submitting. 4. Approved triplets are signed with your wallet and submitted to the Cortex DeSci indexer.
