Corresponding helps scientists prepare an author roster once and fill supported journal submission forms. Paste an author list or import a spreadsheet table, review names, emails, affiliations and author order, then use the extension to preview and fill. The companion website also offers a sample roster you can explore without a journal account. Current capture-backed workflows include Editorial Manager (PLOS ONE/Genetics), ScholarOne (Bioinformatics), and bioRxiv/medRxiv. Journal layouts and requirements vary. Nature support is experimental. Institutional verification and some contribution fields require manual review; bioRxiv lookup warnings remain under investigation. Existing non-empty fields are preserved by default. Review every author, skipped field, affiliation and corresponding-author designation before proceeding. Corresponding never performs final submission, certification, copyright acceptance, payment or signatures. Author data is processed and stored locally. The extension detects author forms on supported submission hosts and fills only after your click. Eligible fills may send a protocol version and author count to a community counter; no author names, emails or roster data are included in that request. Free and open source under the MIT license.
