Correctly — AI Grammar Fixer Correctly lets you fix, rewrite, and refine text anywhere on the web using your own AI provider. Select any text, click a button, and get an instant AI-improved version you can replace with one click. ✨ What it does • Correct — fixes grammar, spelling, and punctuation while keeping your original meaning, tone, and language. • Re-write — rewrites your text to be clearer, more polished, and professional. • Chat — open a mini chat to refine the selected text with your own instructions (make it shorter, more polite, translate it, change the tone, and so on). 🖱️ How to use 1. Select any text on any web page — including text you've typed into input fields, text areas, and rich editors (Gmail, docs, comment boxes, etc.). 2. A small floating Correctly toolbar appears near your selection. Hover or click it to reveal the options. 3. Click Correct, Re-write, or Chat. 4. Review the AI suggestion, then click Replace to swap it into place — or Copy to copy it to your clipboard. 5. Press Esc or click away to dismiss. ⚙️ Setup (one time) 1. Click the Correctly icon to open settings. 2. Choose your provider: OpenAI, Claude (Anthropic), or Gemini (Google). 3. Paste your own API key and pick a model (sensible defaults are pre-selected). 4. Click Save, then Test Connection to confirm it works. 🔑 Bring your own key Correctly uses your own API key, so you're always in control of cost and usage: • OpenAI — platform.openai.com/api-keys • Claude — platform.anthropic.com • Gemini (free tier available) — aistudio.google.com/apikey 🔒 Privacy first Your API key is stored locally in your browser and never sent to us. Selected text is sent only to the AI provider you chose, and only when you click a button. No accounts, no tracking, no data collection, no servers of ours in between. 🌐 Where it works Runs on virtually any page — websites, web apps, localhost, and content inside iframes. (Chrome never allows extensions on internal pages like the Chrome Web Store or chrome:// settings.) Works with your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. Simple, private, and fast.
