Cornerstone brings your church, your small group, prayer with friends and a calmer web to every new tab in Chrome and Edge. YOUR CHURCH AND YOUR TRADITION • A new tab with a greeting, the date and your home church's week: Sunday services, what's next and its announcements, from What's Up Church. • Your tradition's own daily text first: today's Mass readings for Catholics, the readings and fast for the Orthodox, the Daily Office for Anglicans, the catechism of the week for Reformed and Lutheran churches, and a Bible-in-a-year plan (with catch-up) for everyone. • Catholic and Orthodox new tabs can show "one card for the day": the readings and the day's feast together, with the Rosary mysteries or the Jesus Prayer. • A Bible word for today, the saints' and Fathers' words in each tradition's own voices, and "Walk with the sermon" verses when your church posts them. • A bookmarks bar for the sites you open most, with folders. • Choose which cards show and in what order. English and Spanish. SMALL GROUPS • Start a group in a minute: name it, choose its church, and share one link. Your church can confirm it. • Your group's tab: the next meeting, this week's reading, the leader's weekly note with questions and a verse for each day, and the group's prayer requests. • Prayer requests and notes are locked on members' computers, so only the group can read them. Members can report a request or block someone, and report a group to its church. PRAY WITH FRIENDS • Invite a friend by link. You'll see each other's prayer requests, pray for them, and mark them answered. • Requests are locked on your computer before they're sent: only you and the friends you choose can read them. Keep some "just for me". EXPLICIT CONTENT, BLOCKED • Helps block adult websites, web proxies used to get around filters, and search engines that can't be set to strict Safe Search. • Explicit searches on Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo and Brave Search are stopped before they reach the search engine. • Strict Safe Search is kept on for Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo and Brave Search, and Restricted Mode for YouTube. • A calm blocked page, with an optional Bible verse. • Optional accountability partner for adults: they see how many pages were blocked each day, never which ones. WAYS TO HELP • Find sending agencies and ministries for missionaries, Bibles, orphan care and the persecuted church, and donate on their own websites. Cornerstone isn't affiliated with them and never handles the money. • "Where the money goes" shows how Cornerstone's mission fund is split, in plain numbers. YOUR DATA • Your name, church, tradition, bookmarks and settings are kept in this browser on this computer. No account. No analytics. No ads. • Finding your church searches What's Up Church's directory with the name you type, and your church's public events and posts are loaded by the church's id. Those requests carry no name, account or device id. Your tradition is never sent. • Prayers with friends and small group sharing send text to cornerstonebrowser.com only after it's locked on your computer, with a key that stays in your invite links, so Cornerstone can't read it. • If a small group leader chooses a church, that church sees the group's name, meeting time and place, the leader's name and how many people are in it, so it can confirm the group. Nothing about members. • Optional sync with your Google account, off unless you turn it on. • Cornerstone doesn't read the pages you visit. The browser applies the blocking rules. GOOD TO KNOW An extension can be turned off or removed, and it doesn't run in private windows unless you allow it there. It protects this browser only.
