Copy a table from any website into Excel or Google Sheets, or save it as a CSV file, in one click. Every value lands in its own column, and merged cells stay aligned. Free, with no row limit, no account and nothing sent off your computer. An optional Pro license is a one-time $9 payment, no subscription: it saves all tables on a page at once and copies tables as Markdown. No account is needed for either. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a page with a table and click the Table Export icon. 2. The popup lists every HTML table on the page with its size and first cells. 3. Click Copy to put the table on the clipboard, or CSV to download it. WHAT IT HANDLES • Merged cells (rowspan and colspan) are filled into every row and column they cover, so the columns stay aligned. • Header rows from <thead> and <th>, footers from <tfoot>. • Hidden rows are skipped; nested tables become plain cell text. • CSV is UTF-8 with BOM so Excel opens accents and non-Latin text correctly. Cells that start with =, +, - or @ are escaped so a spreadsheet does not run them as formulas. • Copy puts both tab-separated text and an HTML table on the clipboard, which Excel and Google Sheets paste as cells. • Works on HTML <table> elements. Grids built from <div>s (for example virtual-scrolling data grids) are not supported in this version. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Tables are read only after you click the icon, only in that tab, and converted on your computer. • Page content, URLs and browsing history are never sent anywhere. No analytics, no tracking, no remote code. • No access to all sites: the extension uses activeTab, so Chrome gives it the current tab only when you click.
