Copy Relative URL adds a "Copy Relative URL" option to Chrome's right-click menu whenever you right-click a link. Instead of copying the full URL (https://staging.example.com/services/family-law/), it copies just the path (/services/family-law/) — no protocol, no domain. Why you need it: When building internal links on staging or development sites, hard-coding the staging domain into a link means it breaks (or points to the wrong environment) once the site goes live. Root-relative URLs avoid that entirely — they work identically on staging, dev, and production. What it preserves: Query strings and anchors carry through automatically. https://staging.example.com/attorneys/?location=minnesota#results becomes /attorneys/?location=minnesota#results.
