Overview

Keep your clipboard history in Chrome. Search copied text, pin useful clips, and copy again. Stored only on your device.

Copy something useful. Find it again when you need it. Copy & Paste History saves text you copy on supported web pages, so you can return to an earlier snippet after copying something else. A compact clipboard manager for Chrome, built around a simple routine: copy, find, reuse. YOUR RECENT COPIES, TOGETHER Keep research excerpts, useful links, and text snippets within reach. Open the extension from your toolbar to browse your recent clips without returning to each source page. Each entry shows its source domain and when it was copied. FIND THE RIGHT CLIP Search your clipboard history by text or source domain. Switch between all clips, pinned items, and links to narrow the list. Copying the same text again moves the existing entry to the top instead of adding a duplicate. COPY AGAIN WITH ONE CLICK Click a clip to put its full text back on your clipboard, then paste with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V. Compact previews help you scan the list, and the full-text view lets you read longer entries before reusing them. KEEP WHAT MATTERS Pin frequently used snippets so they stay available when you clear your history. Save a useful reference, a recurring reply, or a link you need to revisit. Pinned clips remain until you unpin or delete them, or uninstall the extension. SIMPLE CONTROLS - Search saved text and source domains. - Filter links and pinned clips. - View and copy a clip's full text. - Delete individual entries. - Clear unpinned clips while keeping your favorites. - Pause capture and resume whenever you want. - Press / to jump to search. PAUSE WHEN YOU NEED TO The pause button stops new copies from being saved. Your existing history remains available to browse and reuse. Click again to resume capture. STORED ON YOUR DEVICE No account or cloud sync is required. Saved text, source domains, copy timestamps, and pinned status stay in the extension's local storage. The extension does not send this data to a server. Password fields are excluded, but sensitive information copied from ordinary text can still be saved. GET STARTED 1. Pin Copy & Paste History to your Chrome toolbar. 2. Reload web pages that were open before installation. 3. Copy text on a supported website. 4. Open the extension, find a clip, and click to copy it again. 5. Paste wherever you need it using your usual keyboard shortcut. STORAGE LIMITS Save up to 300 clips and pin up to 50. Each clip can contain up to 16,000 characters, with a total data limit of 4 MB. Longer selections are skipped. When a storage limit is reached, the oldest unpinned entries are removed first. WHAT IT CAPTURES This extension saves plain text from regular copy and cut actions on supported HTTP and HTTPS pages. It does not capture images, formatting, or copies made in other applications. Internal Chrome pages, the Chrome Web Store, the built-in PDF viewer, and local files are not supported. Some website copy buttons and custom copy handlers may not be captured. Less searching through tabs. More of the text you need, ready to reuse.
