Copy Page Link

Creates a formatted link to the current page and copies it to the clipboard.

Copy Page Link is a browser extension that creates a formatted link to the current page loaded in the active tab, and copies it to the clipboard. You can then paste the resulting link markup into an external document. By default, the page title is used as the display text for the link. You can override this behavior by selecting a text string within the document — that string will then be used as the display text instead of the page title. Keyboard Accessibility * The keyboard shortcut for Copy Page Link is 'Alt-1' ('Option-1' on the Mac). * Copy Page Link stores the last-used link format and auto-selects it the next time you run the extension. * To move through the menu of link formats, use the arrow keys: 'arrow-down' or 'arrow-right' to move down, and 'arrow-up' or 'arrow-left' to move up. * When the desired link format is selected, press 'return' or 'enter' to copy the formatted link to the clipboard. Details Copy Page Link provides the following choices for link format: * HTML * LaTeX * Markdown (default) * MediaWiki * Raw URL * Textile * XML Note: The 'Raw URL' format does not add any markup that would incorporate link text such as the page title. It consists only of the page URL. Preferences / Options The Options page allows you to select which link formats will appear in the popup menu. You can open the Options page by selecting the `Gear` icon at the bottom of the popup menu, or from the browser's 'Manage Extensions' page. The XML format includes configuration options for the element and attribute names of an XML element on the options page.
