Copy as Markdown for AI Chat converts selected content from ChatGPT (chatgpt.com) into clean Markdown format and copies it to your clipboard. How to use: 1. Go to https://chatgpt.com and open any conversation 2. Select any part of a chat response by clicking and dragging to highlight text 3. Press Ctrl+Shift+C (or Cmd+Shift+C on Mac) 4. A "Copied as Markdown!" toast notification appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen 5. Paste (Ctrl+V / Cmd+V) into any text editor to see the Markdown output Supported formatting: - Headings (H1–H4) - Bold and italic text - Inline code and fenced code blocks (with language detection) - Links - Ordered and unordered lists - Tables - Blockquotes - Horizontal rules Note: This extension only works on chatgpt.com. It runs entirely locally in your browser, makes no network requests, and requires only the clipboardWrite permission to copy text to your clipboard.
