Coommit: Instant Rooms

Create a Coommit room from any Google Meet, Zoom or Teams call and share a guest link in one click.

Coommit turns any video call into a shared canvas, without leaving the call. You are on Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams and the conversation needs a whiteboard, a diagram, a plan everyone can see. A small Coommit button appears at the bottom right of your meeting. One click creates a room, names it after the meeting you are in, and copies a guest link to your clipboard. Paste that link in the meeting chat and everyone joins. Your guests do not need an account and do not need to sign up for anything. WHAT YOU GET • A floating button on Meet, Zoom and Teams that only shows up when you are actually in a call. • One click creates the room. The name is prefilled from the meeting title, and you can change it before creating. • A no-signup guest link, copied to your clipboard, ready to paste in chat. • Temporary rooms, for when the canvas only needs to live for this call. • A toolbar popup to create a room from anywhere, see your recent rooms, and copy a guest link for any of them. • English and French, following the language of your Coommit account. NO API KEY, NO SETUP Install it, and if you are logged in to Coommit in this browser the extension links itself to your account. Nothing to copy, nothing to paste, no key to generate. If you are not logged in yet, it opens the Coommit login page once and finishes the job by itself when you come back. You can disconnect this browser at any time from the extension settings, and revoke its access from your Coommit account. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • No analytics, no tracking, no third party service. The extension talks to app.coommit.com and to nothing else. • It does not read, record or transmit the content of your meetings. On a meeting page it reads the URL and the page title, and only to detect that you are in a call and to suggest a room name. • It never touches pages other than your meeting tabs and the Coommit app. REQUIREMENTS A Coommit account, free trial available, at https://coommit.com Coommit is an infinite collaborative canvas for teams: boards, live calls, tasks, AI, and an Echo memory that turns what was said into what was decided.
