Overview
Turns any recipe page into a clean, step-by-step cooking view.
Cooksy — Recipe Reader takes the recipe on the page you're already looking at and turns it into a clean, distraction-free cooking view — no more scrolling past ads and life stories to find the next step. What it does: • Clean ingredients & steps, side by side — see everything at a glance instead of scrolling up and down to check quantities. • Checkable lists — tap an ingredient or step to mark it done as you cook. • Scale servings instantly — switch between 0.5×, 1×, 2×, and 3× and every quantity updates automatically. • Smart Steps — adds the exact measurement into each instruction (e.g., "add 2 cups flour" instead of just "add the flour"), so you're never cross-referencing the ingredient list mid-step. • Suggested Prep — a quick mise en place checklist (what to chop, dice, or preheat before you start) so you're not stopping mid-recipe to prep something you missed. Works on recipe sites you already use — no account, no sign-up, no recipe database to search through. Just open the extension on a recipe page and start cooking.
