See Your Browser Cookies
Cookie Vision - See Your Browser Cookies Cookie Vision turns the cookies hidden behind every website into a clear, interactive dashboard. One click on the toolbar icon opens a panel anchored to the icon that shows you exactly which cookies the tab you are looking at has stored, who set them, what each one is actually for, and how long it has been sitting in your browser. No more guessing what "_ga" or "OptanonConsent" means. Cookie Vision explains it in plain language and hands you the controls. WHAT COOKIE VISION DOES - Shows every cookie the current tab can access, read straight from Chrome, updated live as cookies change. - Identifies the company behind each cookie and displays that company's real logo, fetched from the company's own domain, so you can recognize Google, Meta, Shopify, Klaviyo, Yotpo, Omnisend, Stripe, Cloudflare and dozens more at a glance. - Groups cookies from the same company under one shared emoji, so the moment you open the panel you can see which cookies belong together. - Explains in plain English what each cookie is for, whether it is analytics, advertising, marketing, a login session, a security token, a consent record, or a functional preference. - Tells you what changing or deleting a cookie will actually do, and suggests specific changes worth trying, so you can experiment with confidence instead of fear. - Lets you edit a cookie's value, reset it, or delete it outright, directly from the panel. KEY FEATURES - Icon-anchored dashboard. The panel opens right under the toolbar icon for the tab you are viewing. It is focused on the page in front of you, not a floating window you have to manage. - Company identification with real logos. Every cookie that Cookie Vision recognizes shows the setting company's actual logo. Cookies it cannot match to a known domain fall back to a clean colored initial, never a fake or misleading icon. - Same-company grouping. Cookies from one company share a single distinct emoji, making the relationships between cookies instantly obvious across a crowded page. - Plain-language descriptions. Each cookie comes with a readable explanation of its purpose, its category, and how confident Cookie Vision is in that identification: a known cookie, a recognized naming pattern, or an honest inference from the cookie's own attributes. - Practical, honest advice. For every cookie you get two things: what changing it does, and concrete changes worth trying. When a cookie is not recognized, Cookie Vision says so plainly rather than pretending to know. - Full control. Edit any value in place, reset it back to its original, or delete the cookie. Session, HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite and first or third party status are all shown so you understand what you are touching. - At-a-glance summary. A compact header shows the total number of cookies, how many separate companies set them, how many are third party, and the longest remaining lifetime of any cookie on the page. - Category breakdown and who-set-these view. A colored category bar and a collapsible per-company breakdown show you the makeup of the page's cookies in seconds. - Fast filtering. Search by name, company, value or category, or filter the grid down to a single category, to find the exact cookie you care about. WHY YOU WANT IT - Understand what sites are storing about you. Cookie Vision replaces cryptic cookie names with readable explanations, so you finally know what is being kept in your browser and why. - See who is really on the page. The company logos and third party counts make invisible trackers visible, so you can tell first party essentials apart from third party tracking. - Take back control. You are not limited to viewing. You can edit, reset, or delete any cookie, whether to reset a tracking profile, log yourself out, re-trigger a consent banner, or simply clean up. - Experiment safely. The advice for each cookie tells you what will happen before you change anything, so you can try things without breaking the page by accident. - No hype, no guessing. When Cookie Vision is not certain what a cookie is, it tells you it is inferring rather than presenting a guess as fact. Honesty is built into the product. WHO IT IS FOR - Privacy minded users who want to see and control what websites store. - Developers and QA engineers who need to inspect, edit, and delete cookies while building or testing a site. - Marketers and analysts who want to confirm which tracking and attribution cookies are firing. - Anyone curious about what is really running behind the sites they visit every day. - Security researchers and pentesters pushing the boundries of cookie vulnerabilities PERMISSIONS AND PRIVACY - Cookie Vision reads cookies only for the tab you are actively looking at, and only when you open the panel. - It does not collect, transmit, or sell your data. The only network requests it makes are to fetch company logos directly from those companies' own public domains, purely so you can recognize them. - Everything else happens locally in your browser. Open a tab, click the Cookie Vision icon, and see your browser cookies for what they really are.
