Folders, tags and chat text are saved in your browser's local storage and never leave your computer. It reads the chat page you have open so it can index and export it. Pro license verification sends your license key and organization identifier to Polar (api.polar.sh) when you press Confirm and during periodic license rechecks after activation. The extension checks on a 12-hour alarm; ordinary revalidation is due after three days, with 12-hour retries after a negative validation. Chrome asks for access before the first verification. Saved chats and library content are not sent to Polar. Self-check: AI sites change their pages often. ConvoShelf checks itself on every visit and the popup tells you if a site changed, instead of quietly breaking.
