Convilyn — Convert on Download

Convert or compress a file at the moment you download it, using Convilyn.

Convilyn converts and compresses files in your browser, at the moment you already have them — on the way in, on the way out, and in between. Convert a download as it arrives A .webp Word will not take. A .heic your printer rejects. A PDF you needed as text. Convilyn notices the download and offers to convert it right there: the download pauses, you pick a format, and the original is discarded only once the converted file has actually arrived. If anything fails, you keep the file you started with. Fix a file a form refuses — before you give up on it You attach a résumé and the application form rejects it: wrong format, no explanation. Right-click the page and Convilyn reads what that file field actually accepts, converts your file to match, and hands it back to the form. Nothing else on the page is read, and the access ends when you navigate away. PDF tools, without a round trip to a website Extract the text. Export pages as images. The tray survives tab closes and browser restarts, and a file you have already collected is uploaded once, however many operations you run on it. Where the file came from, shown A browser is the only place a file still carries its context. Convilyn shows the source site next to the filename, so you always know what you are converting. Your account, your key Connecting takes one click and no password. The site mints an API key for this browser that can do only what the extension needs — upload a file, run a conversion, fetch the result. You can revoke it at any time from your account, and uninstalling opens the page that revokes it for you. Files are processed on Convilyn's servers and swept shortly afterwards.
