Overview

Convert, encode/decode, and compare text. Open from the toolbar icon or the right-click menu.

Convert is a text-based utility, mainly aimed at developers, that runs entirely in its own extension page — no external site, no servers. Select text on any page and right-click "Convert selected text," or click the toolbar icon, to open the Convert workspace and: * YAML ↔ JSON, * Base64 encoding / decoding * Hex encoding / decoding * URL encoding / decoding * Decode SSL certificates * Markdown →Live preview * Markdown → MediaWiki. Also has convesion for MSG (`.msg`) files to readable text. In the convert-tab you can also diff text based on characters, words, or compare YAML or JSON content. Output is monospaced for easier visual processing and syntax highlighting can be applied to the output, making it easier to read. All processing is local in your browser!
