Convert numbers between units and currencies right from your toolbar. Click the icon, type a number, and the answer appears as you type. Pin Convert to your toolbar: click the puzzle-piece icon, then the pin next to Convert. 2. Click the Convert icon. The cursor is already in the number box. 3. Choose Units or Currency, then the category and the two units or currencies. 4. Type a number. The result updates as you type. 5. Press the arrows to swap the direction, or Copy to copy the result. Tip: to open Convert from the keyboard, set a shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. ABOUT THE RATES Exchange rates are daily reference rates published by central banks, not live market prices. Use them for everyday estimates, not for trading. Most currencies update daily; some only on business days, which is why each result shows its own date. PRIVACY Convert asks for no permissions and collects no personal data. There are no ads, analytics, or accounts. Your settings and saved exchange rates stay on your device. The only thing Convert downloads is the public list of exchange rates; the amounts you type and the currencies you choose are never sent anywhere.
