Controls for Instagram Videos

Total game changer. How weird this isn't just native in Instagram (probably some evil dark pattern to steal more of our attention)

Turns instagram videos on desktop from comically dumb to completely usable. I have no idea why meta thought people want to watch videos in a tiny window with no maximise/full screen option. I can't speak to the hotkey issues people are talking about, I don't use them. The extension does have a few options, including "remember video volume level".

So far so good. Only significant issue I’ve encountered is that clicking anywhere in the newly provided controls causes the audio mute to be activated. Seems to me that needs fixing.

On the story video screen, the Instagram button overlaps the button for this extension, making it unusable.

4 stars because I always have to lower the volume, which kind of defeats the purpose... kind of. Still a great option to have but it really need an update to 'remember' the volume setting.

I don't know if it's supposed to be like this but on Opera, randomly after a reel ends it mutes itself and always mutes the next video. When setting the volume it randomly forgets the volume even though in the settings I set to remember. It just randomly forgets the volume setting and blasts my ears again but whatever, good enough for a couple of reels.
