ControlQ - Smart Tab Navigation
Overview
Switch between tabs using a full screen view by pressing Ctrl+Q (like pressing "Alt+Tab" on Windows or "Command+Tab" on Mac!)
Regain control over your tabs by just pressing Ctrl+Q. Weird thing has happened: managing and switching between programs on operating systems is way easier than switching between tabs on your browser. Most of our work these days is done via the browser, yet managing its tabs is lacking behind the way operating systems do with its programs and processes. ControlQ fills that gap and allows managing your tabs like programs are managed in the OS (Alt+Tab on Windows, Command+Tab on Mac) These are the main features: - Full screen navigation (as oppose to using just that narrow tab bar at the top of the screen) - Tab screenshots (as oppose to just tab titles) - Default option to order by "Last Used" (as oppose to the regular semi-random tab order) - Close tabs directly from the extension view The "Last Used" sorting feature alone is a huge difference in experience, for instance when you're looking for one of the last tabs used and you forgot its location. Instead of going one tab by another looking for the right one, you just have them sorted by the time the tab was last used. So go ahead, give it a try!
