Use your Android phone as a controller for Xbox in Chrome. The game runs on your computer; the phone sends touch-controller or attached-gamepad input over your local Wi-Fi. Direct phone mode does not need a Mac or Windows companion. SETUP Open the extension to see a six-character code. In Controller Link Android 1.2.4 or later, choose Wi-Fi > Browser games and enter that code. Allow your phone on the computer, approve Chrome's access to its address, then choose Open Xbox. Keep the phone app open while playing. Internet is needed for code setup; controller input stays on your local network. A private pairing link is available as a fallback. COMPATIBILITY Requires Controller Link Android 1.2.4 or later. Older builds, including Alpha 122, do not support code pairing. Both devices must be on a local Wi-Fi network that permits connections between them. The game must support multiple local controllers. Four connections do not add couch co-op to Xbox Cloud Gaming. This integration does not support other browser gaming services, native Steam games, or system-wide keyboard and mouse control. Xbox account access, games, regional availability, and any required subscription are separate. Controller Link is not affiliated with Microsoft or Xbox. PRIVACY Controller input and supported rumble stay between your devices and supported Xbox pages. The HTTPS code service temporarily handles codes, encrypted pairing requests, and rotating network-address hashes for abuse prevention. It cannot decrypt your phone's pairing credentials.
