Contrib Dance for GitHub adds adjustable brightness, animated choreography and disco lights to contribution calendars on GitHub profile pages. Keep things subtle with a gentle glow, or turn your calendar into a tiny nightclub. Your browser, your questionable artistic decisions. Make the calendar your own - Adjust the highlights. Change the brightness scale and add an optional glow to make active days stand out. - Choose the choreography. Try freestyle, stadium waves, chorus lines or call and response. Auto mode changes the routine for you. - Pick the dancers. Control how many active tiles join in. The most active days get first dibs on the dance floor. - Bring the lights. Mix rainbow colors, a mirror ball and spotlights, adjust saturation, or enable club mode. - Set the rhythm. Adjust the tempo or tap out a beat. No actual music included — your coworkers can thank us later. Everything is controlled from the toolbar popup and applies to the GitHub profiles you visit. Changes are visible only in your browser: the extension does not create commits, change contribution counts or edit anyone's GitHub profile. Privacy and control Calendar information is processed locally. The extension has no analytics, tracking or developer-operated backend. Only appearance and behavior preferences may synchronize through Chrome's built-in sync service, depending on your browser and Google account settings. Reduced-motion preferences are respected: dance and disco remain off until you explicitly enable animation on that device. Switch every feature off to restore GitHub's original calendar appearance. Permissions are limited to saving preferences and accessing github.com to read and restyle contribution calendars. Open source under the MIT license.
