Built for continuity Continuum is designed to preserve the source conversation. A resume opens a separate destination conversation; the source stays intact. A timeout, partial resume, or unconfirmed destination is never presented as a successful continuation. Privacy and control • No Continuum application backend, analytics, telemetry, or advertising. • Derived project memory and resume data are stored locally in Chrome and protected by Continuum's Local Vault. • Raw conversation transcripts are not stored as a transcript archive. • During a resume, the compact handoff is submitted only to the AI provider you choose. • Continuum accesses only chatgpt.com and claude.ai for its supported continuity features.
