Continue on Phone
Overview
Scan a QR code to continue the page you're viewing on your phone.
Continue on Phone turns the page you are viewing into a QR code. Click the toolbar icon and scan it with your phone to open the same page there. You can also download the QR code as an image. The code keeps the full address, including the path, query, and section. On YouTube it also includes the current playback time, so the video resumes near where you left off, and playlist links stay intact. If a PDF address already includes a page hash, that page is kept. When text is selected, you can switch the code to a text-fragment link that highlights that passage. Right-click an image and choose Send image to phone to put the image itself in a QR code. Right-click a link and choose Send link to phone to put that link in a QR code without opening it. Right-click a spot on the page and choose Send this spot to phone to put that place in a QR code, using an element id, a text fragment, or the same YouTube or PDF resume link. QR codes are created on your computer. Continue on Phone does not send the current page or your browsing history to a server.
