ContextPorter — Ask AI From Any Webpage

Send selected text, page context, screenshots and files to your chosen AI provider from Chrome's Side Panel.

ContextPorter brings the browser context you choose into a focused AI conversation without making you copy, paste, crop, and re-explain the page manually. Use ContextPorter to: • send selected text from the current page; • attach page text or sanitized DOM context; • capture the visible area or a full-page screenshot; • attach local images and supported files; • keep sent browser context visible in the chat transcript; • reuse prompt workflows for summarizing, explaining, translating, and rewriting; • continue supported provider conversations from Chrome's Side Panel. ContextPorter has no ContextPorter application backend or analytics SDK. Local extension state stays in the Chromium profile. Browser context is sent only as part of a user-initiated workflow to the AI provider the user selected. Supported providers currently include ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok. Provider capabilities can differ by provider or account/session state. ContextPorter is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or xAI.
