ContextCue does not upload your entire folder to ContextCue servers. When you choose a folder, the extension scans its structure locally and automatically skips certain sensitive, generated, binary, credential-related, or unsupported files. Only the files you explicitly select are prepared for attachment. When you press the attach button, the selected file contents are sent to the AI service you are currently using, such as ChatGPT or Claude. ContextCue does not receive or store the contents of those files as part of the normal attachment workflow. ### Automatic filtering ContextCue automatically skips many files and folders that are unlikely to be useful as AI context or may contain sensitive information.
