Context Vocab 解决两个英语学习者的真实痛点： 1. 字典查词脱离语境。对着 "L.I.E." 这种缩写、"constellation" 这种多义词，字典给十几条释义让你自己挑——而你看的那篇文章里它就是一个意思。 2. 复习时忘了"当时为啥要存这个词"。生词本里孤零零躺着 ramification、bullish，过两周完全记不起来从哪儿来的。 —— 怎么用 —— • 在任何网页选中一个英文词或词组（≤ 60 字符），浮出 ✦ 查词 按钮 • 点一下，弹出面板： - 主释义：字典式精炼解释（10-30 字） - 此处含义：结合上下文为什么是这个意思（2-3 句） - 词性 + 备注：词源 / 易混词 / 地道用法 • 面板底部：朗文 / 韦氏 / 剑桥三个直跳链接 • 点"存到欧陆"：单词进入生词本，AI 解释 + 原文段落作为笔记同步附在词条上，手机端打开就能看到 —— 适合谁 —— • 用欧陆词典的英语学习者：让每个生词都带着原句一起进生词本 • 在外刊上读 WSJ / NYT / The Economist 的同学：上下文相关词汇本来就是字典查不准的 • Anki 用户：插件提供专门的 .txt（TSV）导出，带 HTML 格式的释义和原文，导入即用 —— 关于成本 —— 调用 DeepSeek 的 deepseek-v4-flash 模型（DeepSeek 最便宜的模型）。每次查词约 ¥0.0007，一个月几十次的强度成本不到一块钱，比欧陆 AI 会员便宜两个数量级。 API key 完全保存在你本地浏览器（chrome.storage.local），不上传任何服务器，插件本身没有后端。 —— 隐私 —— 我们不开服务器，不收集任何数据，不发送遥测。你的查词请求只去 DeepSeek，存的词只去欧陆 OpenAPI。详见隐私政策。 源码开放：https://github.com/kevinguo0351/context-vocab-extension Context Vocab solves two real frustrations for English learners: 1. For abbreviations like "L.I.E." or polysemous words like "constellation," dictionaries dump a dozen entries on you — but in the article you're reading, it means exactly one thing. 2. Review time means forgetting why you saved a word. Your wordlist sits there with "ramification" and "bullish" and two weeks later you can't remember what article they came from. —— How it works —— • Select an English word or phrase (≤ 60 chars) on any page. A floating "✦ Look up" button appears. • Click it. The panel shows: - Definition: a tight one-line dictionary-style gloss (in Chinese) - In-context meaning: why it means this here, referencing the passage (2-3 sentences) - Part of speech + memory tip • Bottom of the panel: direct links to Longman, Merriam-Webster, and Cambridge. • Click "Save to Eudic": the word enters your study list AND the AI explanation + original passage are attached as a note to the same entry — visible in the Eudic mobile app. —— Who it's for —— • Eudic users who want every saved word to carry its original sentence • Readers of WSJ / NYT / The Economist where contextual nuance matters • Anki users — there's a dedicated .txt (TSV) export with HTML-formatted back side, ready to import —— About cost —— Uses DeepSeek's deepseek-v4-flash model (their cheapest tier).
