Context Paste - Paste text or CSV data into fields on websites

Parse structured text or CSV data into reusable fields, then paste any field into web forms via the right-click context menu.

ContextPaste turns any block of structured text into right-click paste actions for web forms. Load a profile once — a resume snippet, a spreadsheet row, a CSV file, or any "Key: Value" block — and every field becomes a menu entry. Right-click any text box on any site and choose ContextPaste → Paste Email (or Phone, or Address, or whatever you loaded) to drop the value straight in. Built for anyone who retypes the same details over and over: job applications, vendor onboarding forms, support portals, government paperwork, QA test data. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the ContextPaste toolbar icon. 2. Paste your text, or upload a CSV/TSV file, or paste a row of spreadsheet cells. 3. Review the parsed fields. Uncheck anything you don't want and rename labels inline. 4. Click "Load into Context Menu". 5. On any page, right-click a form field and pick the value to paste. WHAT IT PARSES • Key: Value text — "Name: John Doe", "Phone = 555-0123", tab-separated labels • Multi-line values — indented or unlabeled lines attach to the field above, so blocks like work history stay intact • CSV and TSV files — row 1 becomes labels, row 2 becomes values, with full RFC-4180 handling of quoted cells, escaped quotes, and newlines inside cells • Spreadsheet clipboard rows pasted directly from Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers • Auto-detection of comma, tab, and semicolon delimiters, with a manual override if it guesses wrong If you enjoy this extension please check out our other extensions in the Chrome Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/search/dbtoolbelt?hl=en&authuser=0 WORKS WITH MODERN WEB APPS Text is inserted at the cursor through the browser's native editing pipeline, so React, Vue, and Angular forms register the change instead of silently reverting it. Rich-text editors like Quill, Draft.js, and ProseMirror work too, as do fields inside iframes and open shadow DOM. PRIVACY Everything stays on your device in Chrome's local storage. ContextPaste has no server, no analytics, no telemetry, and no third-party libraries, and it makes no network requests of any kind. Click "Clear" or uninstall to delete your data. QUIET BY DEFAULT The ContextPaste menu appears only when you right-click an editable field, and only when a profile is loaded. Your normal right-click menu stays exactly as it was everywhere else. KNOWN LIMITATIONS Browsers block all extensions from injecting into chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, and the built-in PDF viewer, so pastes will not work there.
