)Overview
A local-first browser extension for intentional content filtering.
Your feed should follow your rules. ContentLens lets you filter YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Reddit and Hacker News with controls you can read, preview and reverse. BLOCK WHAT YOU DON'T WANT • Hide a channel, author or account. • Filter titles containing exact phrases. • See a clear placeholder instead of an unexplained disappearance. • Reveal any hidden item in one click. PREVIEW BEFORE SAVING A dry run shows matching items and protected exceptions before a rule changes your feed. Every action keeps its reason, and corrections stay available in local history. LOCAL-FIRST PRIVACY ContentLens runs in your browser. No account, no ContentLens server and no telemetry. Your rules live in your browser profile. Export them as encrypted or plain JSON and import them on another installation. YOU CONTROL ACCESS Every supported platform starts disabled. Enable only the sites you want and grant access one site at a time. OPTIONAL AI, NEVER REQUIRED Semantic topics, thumbnail signals, duplicate detection and AI-assisted rule drafting are optional and off by default. If you enable AI assistance, you configure your own provider. Turn it off and exact rules keep working. Supported feeds: YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Reddit and Hacker News. RSS subscription data can be imported and exported. Downloading RSS feeds is not included in this release.
