Consumer Dispute Snapshot
Overview
Tamper-Evident Web Capture
CONSUMER DISPUTE SNAPSHOT — TAMPER-EVIDENT WEB CAPTURE Capturing a screenshot is easy. Proving it wasn't edited — and that it really existed on that date — is the hard part. Consumer Dispute Snapshot turns any webpage into a self-verifiable PDF you can actually rely on in a dispute. One click scrolls and captures the whole page, then produces a PDF that bundles the screenshot with a cover page recording the exact URL, the capture time, a SHA-256 fingerprint of the image, and an INDEPENDENT timestamp issued by a trusted authority (RFC 3161). Anyone can later re-check the fingerprint and the timestamp — so the file proves both WHAT was on screen and WHEN. Built for everyday disputes: a landlord listing, a price or offer that vanished, an item description before it was changed, online harassment, a cancelled booking. Snapshot it now, keep the proof. - KEY FEATURES (FREE) - * One-Click Full-Page Capture: Scrolls and stitches the entire page into a single continuous image — not just the visible part. * Tamper-Evident PDF: A SHA-256 hash of the captured image is printed on the cover. Any later edit changes the hash, so alteration is detectable. * Independent Timestamp (RFC 3161): A trusted Time-Stamping Authority signs the time — proof of "when" that doesn't rely on your computer's clock. * Self-Verifiable: The signed timestamp token is embedded in the PDF, so the evidence can be re-verified by anyone, offline, later. * Private by Design: The page is captured locally in your browser. Only an anonymous hash (never the image or page content) is sent to fetch the timestamp. - PRO FEATURES - * Unlimited captures (the free plan includes 3 captures per month). * Priority timestamping. Snapshot the web before it changes. Keep proof you can stand behind.
