Conocle is a visual library that lives on your Mac. This extension helps you quickly add visuals from the web in to your library. Right-click any image, GIF, or video to save the full-quality original with its real title and a link back to the source. Right-click any page to save the whole thing as one tall image, from headline to footer. Click the toolbar button to save the page you're on as a link. Saves land instantly in the Conocle app, become real files on your disk, and are searchable by meaning. SVG logos, transparent PNGs, and video files all save too. Sites that stream video privately, like X and Instagram, save a preview frame with a link back to the post instead of the video itself. Works everywhere, with extra care for the sites designers actually save from: Instagram (full image from feed or post, real captions as titles), Midjourney (automatic upgrade to the full-resolution original), and X, where bookmarking a post saves its images to your library automatically, credited to the author and linked to the post. Requires the Conocle app for macOS (free beta, conocle.com): the extension talks only to the app running on your own computer. It sends nothing anywhere else, collects nothing, and tracks nothing.
