Overview

Audit a Jira Cloud project's config and compare workflows with Data Center. Word/PDF reports on shared schemes and rule gaps.

Audit a Jira Cloud project's config and compare workflows with Data Center. Word/PDF reports on shared schemes and rule gaps. (125 characters — this is also the description field in manifest.json.) Detailed description Config Analyzer & Migration Helper turns a Jira Cloud project's settings into a ready-to-share audit document — and tells you what changed when a workflow was migrated from Data Center. Built for Atlassian admins and consultants, it surfaces what Jira's UI hides: which schemes are shared with other projects (and which ones), so you know the impact of any change up front — and, for migrations, exactly which workflow statuses, transitions and rules do not match between Data Center and Cloud. WHAT IT DOES Project audit report. Scheme summary (permissions, notifications, issue types, screens, security, workflow) showing, for each, whether it is shared and with which projects. Project role members, with system/app accounts separated from real users. Exported to Word and PDF, with an optional custom header and footer (your logo and company name). Workflow analysis. Per transition: the count of conditions, validators and post-functions, highlighting non-native rules (ScriptRunner and other apps), with transition name and ID. DC ↔ Cloud workflow comparison. Export a workflow XML from your Data Center instance, upload it, and get a comparison document covering statuses, transitions, rules (conditions, validators, post-functions) and transition properties. Matching between XML and Cloud workflow is manual — you decide which file goes with which workflow. Anything not matched stays Cloud-only in the report. Custom field export. Every custom field id used on the project — from screens and from workflow rules — in a CSV, with the source of each one. English and Italian. Switch the language of the interface and of every generated document from the panel. HOW THE COMPARISON REPORTS RESULTS The comparison is deterministic: it reports facts from the two sides and marks anything it cannot prove as "to verify", with the raw values side by side. It never guesses a cause and never pairs items that do not match exactly — that judgement stays with you. Standard OSWorkflow post-functions, which Cloud handles implicitly, are recognised and not reported as gaps. It is an assistive tool: results are indicative and every finding should be reviewed before it is acted on or shared with a client. PRIVACY & SECURITY Everything runs in your browser. The extension reads configuration through Jira's APIs using your existing session; none of your Jira data is sent to any external server. The extension never connects to your Data Center instance. You export the workflow XML yourself and upload it; the file is parsed locally in the browser. No personal data collection, no tracking, no ads. REQUIREMENTS An account with administration (or project admin) rights on the Jira Cloud instance, as several configuration endpoints require them. Config Analyzer & Migration Helper for Jira Cloud is an independent tool and is not created by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Atlassian. "Jira" and "Atlassian" are trademarks of Atlassian.
