Comping
Overview
See what similar items just sold for on eBay and whether there's a profitable flip, on any product page.
Comping is a browser extension for resellers doing online arbitrage. When you're looking at a product on Amazon, a Shopify store, or almost any other site, Comping shows what similar items have recently sold for on eBay — and estimates whether flipping it would actually be profitable, after eBay's fees and shipping. HOW IT WORKS • Comping detects product pages automatically using the page's own structured data (the same data Google uses for search results), plus a dedicated detector for Amazon. • Click the small badge that appears to see the eBay sold-price median, range, and a profit estimate compared to the page's price. • No product data on the page? Highlight any text, right-click, and choose "Check eBay sold prices" — or use the toolbar search box. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT • Currency-aware: checks the eBay site matching the page's currency (US, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany), so the profit math is never mixing currencies. • Never appears on search results, carts, checkout pages, or sites without a clear single product — only real product pages. • Per-site opt-out if you don't want it on a given store. • A free daily lookup limit; unlimited lookups available on the paid plan. PRIVACY Comping has no backend server. Everything it stores lives only in your own browser. See the full privacy policy: https://dennis217-droid.github.io/comping-site/privacy/
