Overview

Lets your Compass coding agent open, read and test web pages in its own tabs, in a browser you watch.

Compass TaskWindow lets the Compass coding agent on your computer work in browser tabs you can watch. When the agent needs a browser, for example to check a page it just built, reproduce a bug or read documentation, it opens its own tabs in a labeled tab group and acts only in those tabs: it reads the page, clicks and types, takes screenshots, and reads the page's console and network log. How it works - The extension talks only to the TaskWindow helper program on the same computer, through Chrome native messaging. It has no server of its own. - It acts only in tabs it opened for an agent session. Your own tabs are not read or controlled. - Each controlled page shows a small pill with the session's name and a Stop button. The toolbar button stops every session at once. Requirements This extension does nothing on its own. It needs Compass and the TaskWindow helper, installed with /taskwindow setup.
