CompanyTrack — UK Company & Director Lookup

Look up any UK company or director in one click. Adds accounts, shareholders and group structure links to Companies House.

The register tells you a company exists, who signs for it, and when it last filed. It does not tell you what the numbers say without opening a PDF. Open any company on Companies House and this extension adds a panel with direct links to: • Accounts and ratios — turnover, profit, cash and 17 financial ratios by year • Shareholders — holdings rebuilt from filed share allotments, not just PSCs • Group structure — parents and subsidiaries, resolved and de-duplicated • Officers — every appointment, with the other companies each director runs • Charges — secured lending, outstanding and satisfied Search the register and every company in the results gets a link straight to its financials. Open a company's officers tab and every name gets a link to their other appointments across the whole register. ── ANYWHERE ELSE ─────────────────────────────────── • Right-click any selected text to look it up as a company, a director or a shareholder — on LinkedIn, in a news article, in an email, in a PDF you are reading in the browser. • Type "ct" then Tab in the address bar, then a company name or number. Straight to the company. • Click the toolbar icon to search companies, directors or shareholders, and to scan the page you are reading for UK company registration numbers — every one it finds becomes a link. Useful on terms and conditions pages, invoices, supplier lists and filings. • Paste a company number and the popup tells you what it is before you search: which register it belongs to, whether it is an LLP, a Scottish company or an overseas entity, and it restores the leading zeros that spreadsheets remove. ── PRIVACY ───────────────────────────────────────── This extension makes no network requests of its own. It reads the page you are on, builds a companytrack.com link locally, and opens it when you click. There is no account, no API key, no tracking and no analytics. Nothing is collected, stored off your machine, or sold. It asks for access to Companies House pages because that is where the panel is added. Everything else runs on Chrome's "activeTab" permission, which grants access to one tab, for one click, and expires as soon as you navigate away — so the page scan happens only when you press the button. Recent lookups are kept in Chrome's local storage on your own machine, and there is a Clear button. ── ABOUT ─────────────────────────────────────────── CompanyTrack covers the UK register — 5.8 million active companies and 17 million records in total — with parsed accounts, computed ratios, reconstructed shareholdings and resolved group structures. Questions or bugs: companytrack.com/contact ``` **Why it is shaped like that.** The Web Store description is indexed, so the phrases people search — *UK company*, *Companies House*, *company number*, *directors*, *shareholders*, *company accounts*, *company registration number* — need to be present. But they are present inside sentences that describe a real benefit, because the description is also the thing that converts a listing view into an install, and keyword soup does neither job. The privacy section is unusually prominent on purpose: a Companies House content script is exactly the kind of permission that makes a careful user hesitate, and answering it before they ask is worth more than the space it costs.
