Organize YouTube subscriptions for free with tags, representative tags, editable mappings, watch filters and a live schedule.

CompactSwitch is a Chrome extension that makes your YouTube Subscriptions page easier to browse, helping you quickly find the streams and videos you want to watch. All features are free. Filter by live streams, archived streams, uploaded videos, video duration, watch status, title, and channel. Choose small, medium, or large video cards, and browse upcoming streams in a separate schedule. Save frequently used filters as presets, select multiple channels, and use Load More or Boost Load to load additional videos. Find related videos across channels using tags extracted from their titles. Set up to five representative tags that remain available even when the tag list is collapsed. Tag mappings let you add a chosen tag when a title contains a specified word or phrase. For example, titles containing “FREE TALK” can receive a “Chatting” tag. Edit mappings in the extension or import and export them as JSON. Matching ignores letter case. Japanese and English, as well as YouTube's light and dark themes, are supported. Video organization, tag extraction, and tag mapping run locally in your browser. Your video list, subscribed channel list, searches, tag settings, and watch status are not sent to the CompactSwitch support server. No Pro purchase, license import, or Google sign-in for CompactSwitch is required. You can optionally support development with a one-time contribution of any whole-yen amount from ¥100. Contributions can be repeated, do not unlock features, and do not create a subscription. Payments are handled through Stripe's checkout page.
