Commitment Radar
Overview
Deterministic interpretation of system outputs, highlighting where language may be over-interpreted beyond what the source supports.
Commitment Radar — Deterministic Interpretation for AI Output AI systems generate confident language — but confidence is not the same as commitment. Commitment Radar helps you see where text produced by AI systems, documentation, or automated tools could reasonably be interpreted as stronger, broader, or more reliable than the source actually supports. Instead of guessing or scoring risk, Commitment Radar applies explicit, deterministic rules to interpret what a piece of text does and does not commit to — and records that interpretation in a structured, replayable form. What Commitment Radar does • Highlights where language may be read as a promise, guarantee, or assurance • Explains why an interpretation may overreach the source • Works consistently across AI systems, docs, and generated text • Produces the same result every time for the same input What it does not do • It does not judge truth or correctness • It does not block, rewrite, or modify content • It does not use AI or machine learning to guess intent • It does not score “risk” or provide compliance advice How it works Commitment Radar separates detection from interpretation: • Potential claims are detected locally for speed • Interpretation happens via a centralized, deterministic ruleset • Results are based on explicit templates, not probabilistic models • Outputs are replayable and auditable This makes Commitment Radar feel more like a compiler or linter for language — quiet when nothing is wrong, precise when something matters. Who it’s for • Engineers reviewing AI outputs or system summaries • Product teams evaluating documentation and model behavior • Anyone who wants clarity around what language actually commits to Why it’s different Most tools try to decide whether text is correct. Commitment Radar focuses on something simpler and more reliable: What can a reasonable reader rely on — and where does reliance stop? ⸻ Commitment Radar doesn’t tell you what to believe. It shows you what the text actually supports.
