Capture rendered messages from Gmail, WhatsApp, or Meet tabs you explicitly enable into your local Commitment Desk.

Capture selected conversations into your local task-management workspace. Commitment Desk — Open Tab Capture reads supported, rendered messages from Gmail, WhatsApp Web, and Google Meet tabs that you explicitly enable. It sends that text to the Commitment Desk companion app running on the same PC, where you can review proposed tasks, deadlines, follow-ups, and useful work context. REQUIRES THE LOCAL COMPANION APP The Commitment Desk desktop app must be installed and running at http://127.0.0.1:3217. Installing this extension alone does not install the companion app. HOW IT WORKS • Pair the extension using your local app’s pairing token. • Open a supported conversation and enable that tab. • Review captured sources and proposed tasks in the companion app. • Pause capture from the extension popup or close the tab. CAPTURE SCOPE Only supported rendered conversation text is captured. The extension does not scan your entire inbox, open messages, scroll conversations, read compose drafts, send replies, or record audio. Meet capture requires supported captions or chat to be displayed. PRIVACY AND CONTROL The extension sends captures only to the paired local companion app. It includes no advertising or analytics. The companion app defaults to local AI processing; configuring a remote AI provider in that app sends relevant text to your chosen provider. Enabled tabs reset when Chrome restarts. Source-site changes may interrupt capture; check the popup for status and errors.
