Commit Assistant

Fills Common App text and dates from your COMMIT profile. You pick dropdowns, check every value, and submit yourself.

Commit Assistant fills your Common App application from what you saved on commit.ac: your profile, the answers on your application form, and the essays you placed there. How it works 1. Connect the extension from commit.ac (each connection lasts 10 minutes). 2. Open your application at apply.commonapp.org and click the COMMIT icon in the Chrome toolbar. The first time, allow Common App access once when Chrome asks. 3. In the side panel, press Preview to see what would be filled, then Fill this page. What it does • Types your saved text, dates, answers and essays into empty fields — including a college's own questions and its essay boxes. • Outlines each dropdown and choice question and shows your saved value for you to pick. • Gives every profile value a copy button. • Shows a Preview that outlines what would be typed without changing anything. What it never does • Never clicks, saves, or submits anything. • Never overwrites a field that already has a value. • Never fills fields about parents, guardians, or recommenders, or the family, signature, and payment pages. • Never sends anything from the application page to COMMIT.
