Overview
Export the public comments on a page to CSV, JSON or Markdown, and pull out customer language with your own OpenAI key.
CommentGrab saves the public comments on the page you are reading, so you can work with them in a spreadsheet or a doc. Open a thread or a video, click the CommentGrab button in the corner, and every comment and reply is collected with its author, date, score and link. Export the set as CSV, JSON or Markdown, or keep it in your library to come back to later. If you add your own OpenAI key, CommentGrab can read a thread, or a whole board of saved threads, and give you a summary, the sentiment, the objections people raise, the hooks that come up, and phrases quoted word for word. How it handles your data: - Everything runs in your browser and is stored on your device. - There is no account and no CommentGrab server. - Comments leave your device only when you run an analysis, and then they go straight to OpenAI with your key. It works on Reddit, YouTube and other sites with public comment threads. The source code is published at github.com/maribol/commentgrab.app under the PolyForm Shield license.
