Commenter — Website Review
1 rating
)Overview
Pin visual feedback to any website and manage private, page-by-page reviews locally.
Commenter turns any website into a focused visual review workspace. Pin feedback directly to an element or draw around a region, then work through every open comment from a persistent on-page panel. Export as pdf or json and share with your collaborator. Everything stays in your browser. There is no account, no cloud workspace, and no background crawl. A review starts only when you choose to start one on a website. - Pin comments to page elements or highlighted regions - Keep feedback organised by website, page, and screen size - Capture a cropped screenshot with each new comment - Resolve comments in place without losing your position - Review desktop, mobile, mobile-wide, and tablet layouts - Track page status and review progress in the Review Library - Search comments across an entire website review - Export review data as JSON or create a printable PDF report - Back up and restore your complete local review library - Use keyboard shortcuts for fast review passes Private by design: Commenter stores visited page URLs and titles, comments, selected page context, and cropped screenshots in Chrome’s local extension storage. The extension does not send this data to the developer or to third parties. Ideal for designers, developers, QA testers, product teams, and anyone reviewing a live or in-progress website.
