Export the comments of a social media post, reel or video to an Excel file, right in your browser, and pick giveaway winners with a fair draw. Free for up to 200 comments per post and with your personal account: no sign-up, no password, nothing uploaded. It works on the most popular social media sites (supported sites: https://commentcrate.com/). HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a post or video on a supported site. 2. Click the CommentCrate icon and press “Scan comments”. (On every site except Instagram, press “Allow on this site” once first: Chrome asks for your permission.) 3. Download a CSV or XLSX file (JSON and PDF with Pro). They are never uploaded. With the optional Pro setting “Save scans on this computer” the scans you save are also kept in the extension's storage on your computer until you delete them. Access to every site except Instagram is optional and asked for only when you press “Allow on this site”. The extension contacts api.commentcrate.com only to check a Pro license (license key and a random device ID), to fetch the current offer or service notice (no identifiers), and, if you press “Send report” after a scan problem and confirm it, to send that report (site, problem type, a few counts, extension and browser version; no comments, no addresses, nothing that identifies you). Details: https://commentcrate.com/privacy.html GOOD TO KNOW • CommentCrate works in desktop Chrome and other Chromium browsers (Windows, macOS, Linux). It does not run on phones or tablets. • Scanning runs in the memory of the tab you scan in: keep it open and in front until you have saved your file. Very large posts take several minutes. • Each site decides what it shows. Hidden, filtered or removed ones can be missing, and counts can differ. • Some sites show only relative times (“2 weeks ago”): they are exported as text and giveaway date ranges do not apply there. A site may ask you to solve a puzzle. • Some sites show a visitor fewer comments than the number they print. Support for X is new and has been tested the least: check your first file. • When a site changes its pages, scanning can stop working until the extension is updated. • Automated collection may be restricted by the platforms; you use the extension at your own risk. • CommentCrate is independent.
