Color Identity Analyzer
Overview
Reverse-engineer a page's UI color system into a practical color identity report.
Color Identity Analyzer helps designers and developers understand how color is actually used in a live interface. Open the extension on any normal HTTP or HTTPS page and start an analysis to: • group observed colors into practical families; • infer likely semantic roles such as brand, surface, text, border, and status colors; • separate background colors from text colors and identify shared usage; • review likely harmony relationships; • inspect text contrast findings and highlight matching elements on the original page; • highlight page elements that use a selected semantic color; • export the result as CSS, SCSS, Tailwind-compatible tokens, or JSON. Analysis runs locally and only after you ask for it. Page content and reports are not sent to the developer or third parties.
