Overview
Minimal, modern colour picker with HEX/RGB/HSL, history, copy, and Chrome's EyeDropper.
Color Capture is a modern colour assistant for designers and front-end developers. Pick any pixel with Chrome’s EyeDropper and instantly get HEX, RGB, and HSL readouts you can copy in one click. Keep your recent colours close with an auto-curated history, build reusable palettes, and analyse entire pages to discover their most prominent shades. A built-in contrast checker helps you validate accessibility ratios before you ship. Key features: - EyeDropper-powered picker that works on any standard webpage. - Live HEX / RGB / HSL readouts with quick-copy buttons. - Auto-saving history (up to 12 colours) with easy reorder, delete, and palette export. - Palette manager with drag-and-drop ordering, rename, undo, and saved suggestions (complementary, analogous, triadic, tetradic). - Page analysis that extracts dominant colours and lets you add them to history or save as a palette. - WCAG contrast checker with text/background swapping, quick EyeDropper pickers, and pass/fail badges for AA/AAA. - Light/Dark theme toggle to match your workspace. Privacy-friendly: everything is stored locally in chrome.storage; no external servers, tracking, or analytics. Version 1.0.0 highlights: initial release with EyeDropper picker, contrast tools, palette manager, and Color Capture bridge integration for colorcapture.net.
