Colophon records how a Google Doc was actually written: every edit, every paste, every AI suggestion from Gemini's "Help me write," in order, with real timestamps. It doesn't try to guess whether text is AI-generated. Instead it gives you a verifiable process log you can check against the document itself. What it captures: typing and edit history, paste events (and whether they look internal or external to the document), every Gemini suggestion and whether you kept, changed, or rejected it, and word-count checkpoints through the session. Everything is recorded locally first. Nothing uploads without you choosing to. Export your session as a .twff file, an open format, at any time.
