Overview

Export your Bing Saves / Edge Collections to an importable bookmarks file. Not affiliated with Microsoft.

Microsoft retired Edge "Collections" in June 2026. Personal Microsoft accounts can still view their saved items at bing.com/saves, but there is no official way to export them. This extension gets your data back out. Click the toolbar button on bing.com/saves (while signed in) and the extension collects every collection and saved link and downloads a standard bookmarks HTML file. Import it into Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave — any browser — with the folder structure preserved: one top folder, one sub-folder per collection. FEATURES • One click — a small on-screen progress box shows each collection as it exports. • Keeps your folder structure (top folder -> one folder per collection -> bookmarks). • Works in any interface language (auto-detects your default collection). • Finds collections hidden behind the left rail's "see more". • Handles large accounts (auto-scrolls to load everything). • Removes the "recently saved" view's duplicates so you don't get a redundant folder. • 100% local and private — no network requests, nothing leaves your device. NOT EXPORTED Items without a web address (plain-text notes, raw images) can't become bookmarks and are skipped; the progress box reports how many. PRIVACY The extension makes no network requests and collects no data. It only reads the page you already see in your signed-in session and writes a local file. Permissions are minimal: activeTab + scripting (it runs only when you click the button). This is an independent, open-source tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft or Bing. Source code: https://github.com/alan8983/bing-collections-to-bookmarks
