Overview

Fetches Google Docs internal revisions/comments and displays them in a React UI.

Collaboration Tracker analyzes contributions to shared Google Docs built for instructors grading group assignments and teams tracking collaborative work. Overview: See who actually contributed to a shared Google Doc. Collaboration Tracker shows you each person's real edit history, contribution percentage, and participation patterns in a shared document whether you're an instructor grading group work or a team lead tracking who's carrying a collaborative project. Key Features One-click contribution history: instantly pulls the full edit and revision history of the currently open Google Doc, no manual digging through version history. Contribution breakdown by person: visualize each contributor's share of the work and edit quality, so you can quickly spot who's doing the heavy lifting and who isn't. Works for classrooms and teams alike: built for group project grading, peer evaluation, and collaborative writing assessment in education and equally useful for tracking contributions on shared docs, reports, or proposals at work. How it works 1. Install the Collaboration Tracker Chrome extension. 2. Open the Collaboration Tracker web app at https://app.collaborationtracker.com in another browser tab. 3. Open a shared Google Doc that you have permission to access. 4. Use Collaboration Tracker’s analyze in Google Docs to open the document’s contribution history in the web app. 5. Explore individual contribution shares, compare teams, and review activity over time. Switch between words, estimated lines, and edits to examine different views of the work. The companion web app runs in your browser. Use the contribution evidence alongside your knowledge of the project to support assessment, feedback, and collaboration discussions. Who it is for Instructors, professors, and TAs grading group projects, lab reports, and collaborative writing assignments. Teams and managers who want visibility into who's actually contributing to a shared document, report, or proposal. Privacy All document analysis happens locally on your device. No document content is sent to our servers.
