Broadcast your tab audio to CollabFM with a modern UI.

CollabFM Broadcaster is the official Chrome extension for CollabFM — a self-hosted social radio platform where people can take turns broadcasting from the browser. Use it to send tab audio from Chrome to your CollabFM instance, along with now-playing metadata when the active page provides it. WHAT IT DOES • Captures audio from a selected browser tab and relays it to your CollabFM server • Reports track title, artist, and artwork when available from the page or a site adapter • On some supported sites, may include additional metadata such as source or license-related fields (where the site exposes them) • Connects to your station through Broadcaster Studio device pairing or a guest broadcaster share link • On supported sites, may allow basic media controls (play, pause, skip) from the CollabFM stage while you are live SELF-HOSTED This extension connects to your own CollabFM deployment, not a hosted CollabFM service. Enter your radio URL in the extension, complete pairing or guest setup, choose a tab, and start broadcasting. SUPPORTED SOURCES Metadata, license-related fields, and stage media controls depend on the active site and what CollabFM’s site adapters support for that source. Other tabs may still be captured; available metadata varies by site. REQUIREMENTS • A running CollabFM instance • Broadcaster access on that instance (paired device or guest broadcaster link, as configured by the operator) • A Chromium-based browser that supports this extension IMPORTANT CollabFM is relay software for a social radio platform. It does not host, store, or supply audio content. Broadcasters and station operators are responsible for how they use the platform and for compliance with applicable laws, platform terms, and rights related to any audio they relay.
