SHOP ONLINE FROM THE DOM-TOM AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE TAX REFUND At ColisExpat, we are committed to making your online purchases more accessible. Facilitating access to French e-commerce sites while reducing the costs associated with VAT is a challenge we face every day for residents of Overseas France. It is with this in mind that we have launched our Off Tax service: a solution designed to allow you to benefit from a tax refund on your purchases in Metropolitan France. The ColisExpat extension supports the following sites: - Amazon.fr - Shein.com *** New*** How does it work? 1. Register on ColisExpat and complete your profile: Go to your account and then to the "My addresses" tab. Be sure to enter your address in Overseas France in the "Delivery addresses" field. Once this address is entered, a new "Off Tax Option" section will appear in your account. Be sure to activate it. 2. Install the extension on your browser and accept the extension permissions 3. Browse and order on the Amazon or Shein sites: - When you have chosen your product, click on the "Add to ColisExpat cart" button on the right hand side of your screen. - Once all your items have been added to the cart, click on "Place order". - It is at this point that our system intervenes to calculate the amount of the applicable tax refund. - At the time of checkout of your cart, and before payment, the extension tells you the amount of VAT that you can save. - Pay your product in the ColisExpat checkout 4. Delivery of your package to our ColisExpat warehouse in France 5. Once your package is received at ColisExpat, your customs declaration is automatically filled out. You will then receive a notification confirming receipt of the package. 6. Ship it to your home in Overseas France: All you have to do is plan the reshipment of your package to your address in the DOM-TOM, by choosing the dedicated carrier, as usual. The VAT will then be refunded, after deduction of a reasonable commission!
