Coldfront

Trade on Hyperliquid from your cold wallet's account without connecting the wallet each time. Free.

Coldfront lets you trade in the official Hyperliquid web app from an account held by a cold wallet, without connecting the wallet each time. The app's own Enable Trading approval runs out after 14 days, so a cold wallet has to sign again every two weeks. An API wallet you authorize yourself can last up to 180 days, and Coldfront lets the official app use it. How it works: 1. On the app's API page, your cold wallet signs once to authorize an API wallet. 2. You paste that API key into Coldfront. It is encrypted on your computer with your passphrase (PBKDF2-SHA256 with 600,000 rounds, AES-256-GCM), and you can unlock it with Touch ID (passkey). 3. While Coldfront is unlocked, it gives the API key to app.hyperliquid.xyz, so you trade there as usual. The API key can place and cancel orders. It can't withdraw or move funds, and doing that still needs your cold wallet. Coldfront locks after a time you choose, when the computer is idle, or when you close the last Hyperliquid tab. Locking reloads those tabs so the app forgets the key. It works with cold wallets that can authorize an API wallet on Hyperliquid, such as Ledger or Trezor. How it is paid for: Coldfront is free and works with accounts that joined Hyperliquid with referral code COLDFRONT, which also takes 4% off trading fees. Hyperliquid shares part of those fees with us. Already on Hyperliquid? If your account has never used a referral code, Coldfront adds COLDFRONT during setup when you press Apply code. An account that already uses another code can't change it, so add a second account on the same cold wallet and join with the code. Coldfront collects no data and talks only to Hyperliquid.
