As a crypto user, I’ve seen a lot of misleading information that can lead to scams. So I built CoinSausage to help users quickly find verified project information and explore crypto more safely. CoinSausage is a free-to-use cryptocurrency and NFT quick lookup tool designed to shorten the path to primary sources. My goal is to reduce unreliable information by giving users direct access to blockchain data through the CoinGecko API. Features: - Search cryptocurrencies and NFTs listed on CoinGecko. - View detailed project information at a glance (current price, trading volume, and supply data). - Public notice indicators for major updates, migrations, rebrands, security alerts, and other significant announcements. - Direct links to official websites, social platforms, forums, and blockchain explorers. - Verify contract addresses to check if project exists. - One-click copy for contract addresses. - Up to 365 days of historical price charts (optional lifetime market data access). - Fiat currency conversion (USD, EUR, CAD, AUD, JPY, KRW, VND, and more). - Discover projects by category (DeFi, Analytics, Education, Play-to-Earn, NFTs, etc.). - Sortable Top 1000 cryptocurrency list (by name, percentage change, market cap, or trading volume). - Lookup NFT's floor price, unique owners, supplies, market cap, and sales volume. Watchlist & Portfolio Tracking: - Track favorite digital assets by adding them to a Watchlist. - Saved items are automatically appear in Watchlist Portfolio. - Use the built-in Portfolio Calculator to estimate gains or losses by manually entering purchase price and quantity (no wallet connection required). - Portfolio values update automatically based on current market prices. API Access & Limits: - A CoinGecko API key is required to use the extension. - Anyone can sign up for a FREE CoinGecko Demo API key. - A step-by-step setup guide is included after installation. Demo API key limits may include: - Up to 30 calls per minute - 50,000 calls per month - Limited data availability. If limits are reached, some data will not load. Usage limits reset based on your API key creation date. Users can monitor usage on their CoinGecko Developer Dashboard. Support my development: - A Premium plan is available for additional cryptocurrency and NFT data not accessible with Demo API keys. - I'm using ExtensionPay for subscription and payment processing. - ExtensionPay may use third-party payment processors (such as Stripe) to process transactions securely. About Your Data: - No data is collected when using CoinGecko's Demo API key. - Extension does not track your browsing history. - Your API keys, watchlists, and cached market data are stored locally on the user’s device. - Only Premium users’ email are stored securely on a backend for subscription verification only. - Stored data will automatically removed from the database if user cancelled their subscription. - Data is never sold, shared for advertising, or used for profiling. - CoinSausage do not store or have access to full payment details. - All payment transactions are handled by ExtensionPay and its authorized payment processors. - For information on how payment data is handled, please refer to ExtensionPay’s Privacy Policy. To improve performance and optimize API usage, CoinSausage may temporarily cache certain publicly available market data on a backend servers. Cached data may be shared across users and is used only to improve loading speed and service reliability. This data does not contain personal information and is not linked to individual users.
